Chocolate coloured, sweet and juicy fruits. The flesh is thick and the fruit is fairly uniform. Smaller fruits around 8cm long and 4cm across. Heavy cropping plants with good disease resistance. There is a hint of smokiness in their flavour.

Capsicums grow into small bushes with deep green leaves, as well as being fruitful they are also quite ornamental. The flowers are either white, or purple and grow from the leaf axil. They will grow best in warm summers.

Plant Capsicum in a full sun position with humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Fertilise through spring, and reduce as the fruits begin to grow. Water to establish and keep moist in active growth. Capsicum have similar growing conditions to Tomatoes.

Harvest when the fruits reach full size, summer to autumn. You can eat your Capsicum raw, roasted, picked or dried.

Capsicum plants should be treated as annuals as they don't produce as much fruit in their subsequent seasons.
