Freesia Burgundens Snow River
Heart melting.

Classic white flowers with a golden throat.
Freesias are a spring must have. Bergunden Freesias are single flowers with an unforgettable fragrance. The large, clear, bright florets open in profusion, with a strong cloud of perfume.
Freesias are easy to grow bulbs that are vigorous and hardy by nature. They grow best in full sun to light shade in a well drained soil. If grown in light shade, their colour tends to hold a little longer than in full sun, though in full sun you will have more blooms. If they are not getting enough light they will flop over. Freesia bulbs are best left to naturalise and will only need to be lifted for division every three or four years.
Freesias are suitable for pots, mass plantings, beds and borders. Plant them somewhere you can appreciate their delightful fragrance.
The blooms last well in a vase and should be picked as the first flower opens.
