This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Brilliant red petals with flashes of bright white throughout. A real eye catcher.
Double Hippeastrums are the triumphant result of years of intensive hybridising, offering twice the petals of the single varieties. These bulbs are quite effortless to grow.
Hippeastrum are extroverts; their large, eye catching flowers that open on tall, straight stems. The trumpet blooms last well in the garden and also cut for indoor displays.
Hippeastrum grow well in garden soils and in pots. In pots, they can be moved to centre stage when in bloom and rested, hidden behind the shed in winter dormancy (cool climates only).
Hippeastrum grow best in humus rich, moist, well drained soils. Though well drained is the most important factor. Hippeastrum grow Australia wide. Keep plants protected from slugs and snails. Keep Hippeastrum moist in growth and relatively dry over winter.
Hippeastrum are semi evergreen and will go dormant in cool climates, where they should be protected from frosts.
