Please accept our apologies as this stock is no longer available this Summer season. Due to a mishap in storage these Lily bulbs have not met with our high standards of quality. We hope you can find a substitute in our current range of Liliums, though if you have fallen in love with this particular variety, don't despair, it will be available in our spring catalogue (August).

Lavender-pink petals with cream on the edges of huge, heavily scented blooms.
You will have the pleasure of these blooms twice in 2015!
These Lilies will bloom twice in the first year! Plant these specially cold treated Lilium bulbs by the first week of March and you will have flowers in May and again in November-December. The flowers in these bulbs are ready to grow and bloom. Just give them a nice, sunny position and feed them well. After you have enjoyed the May flowers, allow the foliage (at least 2/3 of it) to die down naturally. The flowers will be back as good as ever in summer. In subsequent years they will revert to their regular summer flowering.
Oriental Lilies are colourful and fragrant. The blooms are large and look wonderful in the garden. Oriental Lilies make excellent cut flowers.
Matisse was a pioneer in modern art. His work broke with convention and took colour to a whole new level. This avant garden Lilium collection named in his honour pays homage to his fondness for eccentric colour.
The unusual combinations, spotting and patterns on these Lilies are striking. We hope they inspire you to create a masterpiece your garden.
Plant Oriental Liliums in a permanent position in the garden, the longer they have to establish the more flowers they will bear. Ensure you fertilise your Oriental Liliums well, this will ensure the best blooms.
Simply plant, your Oriental Lilies, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. In fact, the longer Lilies have to establish the blooms they produce. Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location. They will appreciated afternoon shade in warmer climates.
