Solomon's Seal Variegatum

Japanese Variegated Solomon's Seal is excellent for hard to fill, shaded areas. A semi evergreen variety with lush foliage on arching stems. The leaves are light to bright green with a cream, striped edge.
The creamy white, bell shaped flowers join the foliage from late spring. This a bright addition to a shade garden, beneath trees or even in pots.
Plant Japanese Variegated Solomon's Seal in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Water to establish then only if rainfall is low. Dry tolerant once established. Low maintenance and long lived.
Both the leaves and the flowers of Japanese Variegate Solomon's Seal can be used in floral arrangements.
