Biden Namid 'Compact Yellow'

So easy and abundant. The stems are compact, with a neat, rounded habit and are shorter, so don't twine into each other, like the old fashioned Bidens did.
Namid Compact Yellow Bidens has first-rate branching and is fast growing to form a nice, dense mound. Bidens are brilliant and colourful fillers in beds, borders, or pots. They are heat tolerant and have plenty of blooms from early spring to late autumn.

Ours are in a protected position and never stop blooming. We use them each year at our KaBloom festival and they are always a talking point, this year we mixed them with bubble gum pink Calibrachoa for a bit wow.

Grow in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish, and then keep relatively moist during flowering for the best show. Add some fertiliser in summer to keep them blooming at their best - they bloom heavily so should be well fed. In pots you will need to pay more attention to watering as potting mix is perfectly drained and dries out quickly. Give them a little trim mid season and some fertiliser and you can enjoy a second flush in to autumn.
