Geum Blazing Sunset

The bright scarlet red, fully double flowers open freely for weeks on end. The flowers average an impressive 4.5cm across. The blooms open from early in the season and there are lots of them, for a good duration. The colour changes as the blooms mature.
Geum 'Blazing Sunset' is the only Geum to have won a prestigious Fleuroselect Novelty award*.
Geums are an excellent, low growing ground cover with plenty of flowers. They establish quickly and need little in the way of care. The colourful flowers will adorn your beds and fill your vases.
Geums are relatively shade tolerant and grow best in morning sun. Geums are easily woven through beds and borders or beneath deciduous trees. Tough, hardy and easy care!
Plant Geums in well drained, humus rich soil. Geums are dry tolerant once established. Remove spent flower heads to encourage more blooms
