Sizzling summer colour.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Brilliant red blooms that will definitely make a splash in your summer garden. The vivid blooms open with the sun so should be given plenty of light. Californian Poppy flowers have a soft fragrance.
Californian Poppies are tough customers. They power on through the heat and will tough out dry conditions. Californian Poppies will cope with a range of different soils as long as they have good drainage.
Californian Poppies have lovely, finely divided, blue green leaves growing 15-20cm. This fern like foliage creates a nice, soft feel to the garden.
You can grow Californian Poppies in garden beds, front of borders, rockeries, lawn plantings, gravel drives or containers. Because they flower so freely they are especially lovely planted in large groups.
Annuals, Californian Poppy flowers are followed by long, curved seed pods. They can be left on to drop their seeds for next year's show, or collected for sowing in spring or early autumn.
