An award winner with luminous, violet blue spires. This amiable plant can tough out trying conditions with ease.
A beautiful bushy plant with abundant, violet blue flower spikes from late spring to autumn. This elegant choice is also tough and hardy.
The flower spikes of Salvia ‘Tanzerin’ are tall and densely packed. The deeper purple calyxes create a nice contrast to the violet flowers.
Salvia ‘Tanzerin’ holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit so you know it has been tried and tested.
The birds, butterflies and bees love Salvia ‘Tanzerin’, almost as much as gardeners do.
Plant into moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Sandy and gravelly soils are very suitable. Salvia ‘Tanzerin’ is dry tolerant once established. Dead head regularly through the season, or give it a mid season chop as it starts to wane Dec/Jan to keep them soldiering on to winter.
