Dusky pink petals with heavy gold and maroon spotting. The flowers have real substance so last well.
Martagon Lilies have a delicate, old world charm with a practical, easy grow nature. Up to 50 flowers can open on one stem! You will get more flowers as the bulbs establish in the garden. The pendent blooms are also known as Turkscap Lily flowers.

Martagon Lilies produce many flowers and bloom for a long period. The blooms start opening from mid to late December, which is perfect timing for Christmas! The strong, green stems have a deep purple flush. The foliage is deep green and grows to around 16cm.

Martagon Lilies are a cinch to grow. Plant in a well drained soil in a morning sun, or lightly shaded position. As woodland plants they grow best in dappled light. They don’t like to be disturbed, so allow a season for them to settle in and flower at their best. As with most Lilies, the more they settle in, the taller they will become (to a limit of course, they aren’t magical beanstalks!).

Martagon Lilies are hardy and will settle in and gradually increase to form a clump. Water to establish and keep moist during active growth. Ideally add a layer of compost in autumn. The seed is viable and will produce flowers in 5-6 years.

Martagon Lilies are vigorous growers and easy to maintain.
