Dendrobium Superbum 'Blue'
Amazing perfume.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

A lovely choice with months of sweet flowers that smell like raspberries and cream.
It has big leaves and nice strong stems. When they begin to bloom they tend to lose their leaves but soon grow new ones. They get bigger and better every year.
Dendrobium Superbum ‘Blue’ looks great in baskets or hanging baskets or affixed to bark, or the crevices or rocks and trees. This is a tetrapoid and the flowers are wide with good substance to the petals.
Dendrobium Orchids are also known as Sydney Rock Orchids and can be easily grown through most of Australia, as they are tolerant of a wide range of temperatures. In cold climates they will need some protection from winter rains. They require filtered light. Water and fertilise in spring and summer. Keep them on the dry side in autumn and winter, but not so dry the canes shrivel, until the flowers appear, then begin watering and fertilising again.
Over the last 20 years Aussie native Dendrobiums have been selectively hybridised to create many new and amazing hybrids with large or better coloured flowers, improved shape and vigour. The plants supplied will be divisions of a selected collection of these hybrids.
