AmeriHybrid Tuberous Begonia 'Cape Coral'
Layers of luminous petals.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Super sized, semi double coral flowers.
AmeriHybrid Tuberous Begonias are the latest and greatest in breeding, they are the result of over 80 years of careful selection from one farming family. The compact, vigorous plants will make your shady areas and pots or hanging baskets pop with a succession of huge, colourful flowers.
They are new to Australia and we are proud as punch to offer them to you. They have impressed our farmer in trials and he says they just keep getting better. The flowers are real attention seekers, and average an impressive 15cm across, with some up to 20cm. They are semi to fully double and their petals glitter in the sunlight. There is a parade of them throughout summer and autumn with numbers increasing as plants establish.
AmeriHybrid Tuberous Begonias are happiest where ferns and orchids grow, and like to almost dry out between waterings.
Tuberous Begonias grow best in pots, in climates with cool nights. You can easily grow them in the mild areas of NSW, the Qld Tablelands, Victoria, Tasmania and south of Perth in WA. They won't tolerate high humidity or direct sunlight, so it is best to place your pot where it receives filtered light such as under a tree, shade cloth, a porch or in a shade house.
