Winter Rose 'White Tutu'
Plenty of flair.
In stock

Semi double white flowers with a coy, pendant habit and plenty of freckles. It is the little ruffle at the centre that distinguishes this variety. Good vigour and quick to settle in .
Modern breeding with more flowers on upright stems, held above the foliage. Vigorous growth with a compact, well branched habit. The leaves are emerald green and are lush and dense with a leathery feel.
Almost indestructible and certainly indispensible, Winter Roses are ideal for dressing up the shady spots in your garden. They provide a long lasting floral display, from winter to spring and their handsome, evergreen foliage remains a year round feature.
Winter Roses, or Hellebores are durable and versatile in the garden. They thrive beneath deciduous trees, in filtered light or part shade (they don't tend to flower as well in really heavy shade). They will even grow in containers. The plentiful, enduring flowers measure around 5-8cm across.
Winter Roses can set seed but are unlikely to flower true to type as they hybridise easily. They offer great value with the seedlings either left to their own devises, moved or shared.
The blooms open so freely there is plenty for picking - a real boon for winter. A nice way to display them is floating in a bowl as a table centrepiece.
