Deutzia (reduced) Collection

Superb, deciduous shrubs with elegant, arching stems of lush, mid green foliage and plenty of lightly perfumed flowers. In autumn, after the leaves fall they reveal a handsome, slender branch structure.
Deutzia are neat, dense, deciduous shrubs with mid green foliage on arching stems.

In winter, once the leaves have dropped it shows off its attractive trunk and branches.

Each delicate flower is around 2.5cm across and they mass together in pendant sprays late spring into summer. They show in abundance for around two weeks and they have a soft, sweet perfume.

Deutzia are quick to establish and easy to care for. It makes a lovely addition to a shrubbery, border, bed or even woodland, cottage gardens or embankments.

Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Protect from the hot afternoon sun. Water in well to establish, then you only need worry if rainfall is low.
