Agapanthus 'Purple Cloud'
Deep Purple Impact
In stock (low stock)

Agapanthus 'Purple Cloud' is a showstopping variety known for its tall stems and impressively large, deep violet-purple flower heads. Blooming in summer in the southern hemisphere, it creates a dramatic focal point in the garden, with flower stems reaching up to 120 cm tall. Each globe-like cluster is packed with richly coloured florets that attract pollinators and admirers alike.
This vigorous, clump-forming perennial grows to about 60 cm wide and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. It’s drought-tolerant once established and well-suited to coastal or dry gardens, urban landscapes, and large containers. Its tall stature makes it perfect for the back of borders or lining pathways, where it provides height, colour, and seasonal drama.
Despite its elegance, Purple Cloud is a hardy and easy-care performer. Simply remove spent flower stems and divide clumps every few years to keep it looking its best.
Whether used en masse for impact or as a singular statement in a contemporary design, this agapanthus brings rich colour and strong vertical interest to garden spaces with minimal fuss.
