Umbrella of Elegance
Short delay - awaiting stock

This enchanting perennial is native to the shaded woodlands of East Asia, thriving in cool, moist conditions. It features large, glossy, palmate leaves that can reach up to 35 cm across, creating a striking umbrella-like canopy above the ground. In spring, it produces clusters of maroon-red, bell-shaped flowers that hang delicately beneath the foliage, adding a touch of elegance to shaded garden corners.
Preferring full to partial shade and well-drained, humus-rich soil, this plant is ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, or as an understory companion to taller plants. It reaches a height of approximately 45–60 cm and spreads to a similar width, forming a clump that gradually expands over time.
Beyond its ornamental value, this plant is also appreciated for its resilience and ease of care. It is relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal attention once established. Its unique foliage and charming flowers provide visual interest throughout the growing season, making it a valuable addition to any shaded garden setting.
