The blooms stretch up to 17cm across, and open on stems to 100cm. The flowers have a strong fragrance. The petals are white with a strong, magenta pink blush radiating from the centre of the flower.
They are Oriental Trumpet Lily crosses of distinction.
O.T. Hybrids Lilies or Oriental Trumpet Lilies are a cross between two fragrant forms; Oriental Lilies and Christmas Lilies (Trumpet). The exotic blooms of the Oriental Liliums have the strongest fragrance, are the most heat tolerant and the most flamboyant flowers of all the Liliums. The Christmas Lilies have the large, trumpet shape and strong fragrance. They are also known as Orienpet Liliums, a joining of the two words, Oriental and Trumpet.
This new range of Lilies are hardier and more cold tolerant with a strong disease resistance. O.T. Liliums add glamour and fragrance to the garden. They are also tough, and able to withstand our hot summers. Plant O.T. Liliums in a permanent position in the garden, the longer they have to establish, the more flowers they will bear. Ensure you fertilise your O.T. Liliums well, this will give you the best blooms. Fertilise when you first see growth, then again as they are fading. In warmer climates, grow your lilies in part shade or morning sun so the flowers last longer. Water to establish and keep moist in active growth for best results.
Create an indulgent display of colour with lilies. Gorgeous in the garden and perfect for cut flowers too. Allow 100-120 days from planting to flowering.
