Agastache 'Apricot Sprite' is covered in apricot coloured tubular flowers for weeks on end. The blooms are plentiful and stand up to summer heat. The foliage of Agastache has a strong mint - anise fragrance. This is strongest when brushed up against, so plant it where it can be enjoyed.
You should dead head flowers of Agastache 'Apricot Sprite' regularly, to encourage more blooms. Agastache plants prefer full sun and a well-drained soil. They need water to establish, then only if rainfall is low, though the flowering season will last longer if the plant is kept moist. Cut back to the ground in winter to maintain a healthy bush.
Agastache is also known as Giant hyssop and Hummingbird mint, and is a native to the South Western U.S.
