Bellevalia Grape Hyacinths
In the Navy!
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

The handsome racemes of navy blue flowers open on upright stems that will grow up to 40cm high. The cone shaped bloom heads go from bright to navy blue as they open.
Bellevalia Grape Hyacinths are similar to the traditional Grape Hyacinths, or Muscari, only BIGGER! They are just as easy to grow and were previously known botanically as Muscari pycnantha but now belong to the Bellevalia genus. They hail from Turkey, Iraq and Iran.
Bellevalia Grape Hyacinths have strappy, grey green leaves that grow upwards from the base of the flower stem. The leaves grow 15-45cm long with the blooms sitting just above.
Grow Bellevalia in rock gardens, towards the front of garden beds or in pots. Choose a well drained soil and a sunny spot.
