Chinese Ground Orchid 'Pink'

With neat clumping foliage and oodles of flowers, Bletilla is a joy to grow. Up to 12 magenta pink, orchid like flowers open in a season, this is excellent value. The foliage of Bletilla is a lush, bright green. It has deep ridges. The foliage emerges early spring and lasts usually until frost. The flowers of Bletilla are easy to pick, simply pluck the blooms from amongst the foliage. The flowers last well in a vase. The flower season lasts around a month. Plant Bletilla or Chinese Ground Orchid at the front of beds or borders or in pots. They look best planted in clumps.
