Monarda 'Sahin's Lavender'
Much coveted.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Shaggy, lavender flowers on strong stems.
En masse, these delightful blooms are a sight to behold. They open in profusion summer to autumn and are attractive to birds, butterflies, bees and gardeners! These tall stems are a must for cottage borders or naturalised plantings.
Each flower head is around 5cm across.
The leaves are deep green and have a delicious mint fragrance. They are used medicinally and in teas. The stems are square.
These cultivars have good mildew resistance. For best results, grow Monarda in moist, humus rich soils in a sunny position. Keep it moist in active growth and dead head flowers regularly to extend the bloom season. Mulch in summer to help with water retention.
Monarda are good plants for the back of borders. They are commonly known as Bergamot and Beebalm and are a member of the Mint family.
