Mounding grey green is foliage topped with tall stems of lilac white and pink flowers. The bracts have a hint of green through them. The foliage has a pleasant fragrance. An eminent form of Clary Sage collected by Jim and Jenny Archibald while they were in Turkey. Produces viable seed but it is not invasive. Grow Salvias in a sunny location in well drained soil. These Salvias are dry tolerant once established and look wonderful in beds, borders or dry gardens. They have a vigorous growth and are easy care. Dead head spent flowers on Salvias, after the first flush to encourage re-bloom. A semi evergreen to herbaceous variety which should be pruned hard in winter or early spring.
