A fun and easy perennial to grow that produces oodles of daisy like flowers. While they may look like daisies, the semi double mauve-blue blooms are actually more closely related to the Sunflower. Good, late summer colour.

Once established Aster 'Blue Dove' are vigorous, hardy and offer great quantities of colourful blooms. Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich soils. Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low, dry tolerant once established. Ideal in rockeries or part of a border.
Dead head Asters regularly to encourage more blooms. It is a good idea to add a few stakes to help support the masses of blooms.
