Potato 'Sebago' is a white flesh cultivar suitable for just about anything! Use them for baking, steaming, boiling, frying or mashing. An American cultivar that came to Australia in 1940. It takes 130 days to mature. In addition to flowers, it may produce berries, these are inedible.
There are lots of ways to grow Potatoes. They are so easy, they will succeed in the ground, in pots or even grown in sacks!
All you need to do is make sure you are planting your Potatoes into prepared soil in a sunny spot, and that you mound them during their growing season. This means, as the bush grows upward you mound soil around the stem. This both ensures the tubers are underground, and won't turn green in the suns light, as well as increasing your harvest.
Potatoes have high yields and millions of uses in the kitchen, are a cinch to grow and won't take up much space. We send out detailed instructions with your order so why not give them a try?
