The bright, orange red, semi double flowers of Geum ‘Fire Lake’ open on narrow stems for an impressive period.
Geums look fantastic in the garden and make great cut flowers. The blooms open spring to summer with a few bonus blooms through the year. By dead heading spent Geum flowers you will extend the flowering show.
The kidney shaped leaves of Geum ‘Fire Lakes’ grow low to the ground and up to 15cm across. They are light to mid green and look handsome year round.
Plant Geums in beds, borders, rockeries or even containers. Most Geums are grown as a front of the border plant. At the front of beds, their low foliage and weeks of bright flowers on wiry, branched stems make a cheerful edging to flower beds. Geums are trouble free of pests and diseases and hardy to frost.
