French Meadow Rue
Ethereal plants.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

The fuzzy flowers open freely atop tall stems, creating a haze of purple colour. The plants have wonderful, relaxed feel that looks fantastic amid grasses, in a cottage garden or modern Australian style. A classic, rare plant that is absolutely garden worthy.
French Meadow Rue is a fantastic plant to add height and allure to beds and borders. The blue green foliage is similar to Aquilegias and has an ethereal quality.
Grow your Thalictrum in a full sun to semi shade position. Plant into moderately fertile to humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Water to establish then keep moist when actively growing. Plant out of strong winds or be prepared to stake (the stems are tall and narrow). Cut back once flowering has finished and they become untidy. Allow seeds to drop if you would like to increase your clump.
