Asiatic Pot Lilies Crossover
Ideal for pots.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Lilium 'Crossover' is a compact beauty. Perfect for potting, the strong stems grow only to around 60cm on mature bulbs. So you won't end up with leggy Lilies like you can with some of the standard varieties.
The upward facing blooms of Lily 'Crossover' have distinctive, deep maroon spotting concentrated in the eye of the flower and fading towards the edges.
Asiatic lilies are hardy cultivars with bright, colourful, upward to outward facing flowers. Stems average 4-8 blooms, numbers increase as the bulbs establish. They make excellent cut flowers and are so easy to grow.
When you grow your lilies in pots, it is best to use a good quality potting mix. To get the best out of your bulbs, add a slow release fertiliser at the time you plant, or add a liquid fertiliser fortnightly during flowering. Lilies are heavy feeders and like their moisture during growth so don't forget pots have limited resources
Keep lilies moist while in growth and fertilise at the start of the season and again as the flowers are finishing. Mulch over the summer to help maintain the moisture levels in the soil.
In the garden, simply plant, your Asiatic Liliums, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location. They appreciate afternoon shade, especially in warmer climates.
