The Jewel Plant The Jewel Plant
A jewel for your crown.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

The small fleshy, club shaped leaves have small bumps, or 'jewels' at the edges. The fat foliage will grow to form a dense clump of around 10cm and it looks fantastic in pots.
Summer to autumn the Jewel Plants have bright yellow, daisy like flowers. The blooms are around 2cm across.
Jewel plants grow mainly through summer, so this is the time they need to be watered. Not too much, just as you would a cactus or succulent, water the soil, then wait until it dries out before watering again.
The Jewel plant is tolerant of both heat and frost. Grow in succulent mix in pots. In the garden they need a well drained soil and summer shade in hot climates.
