An easy going perennial that brings the flowers. All summer long, you will have spectacular, Cornflower blue, double blooms, that also last well as cut flowers.
Our star grower, Dennis Norgate has propagated Scabiosa 'Fama Blue' for many years. With months of flowering, it lives up to his high standards.
Grow Scabiosa 'Fama Blue' in a sunny garden spot with moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. They prefer a neutral to slightly alkaline PH if you wanted to be fussy. Water to establish and keep moist in active growth. Keep relatively dry over winter dormancy.
Remove spent flowers regularly during growth to keep Scabiosa 'Fama Blue' plants tidy and prolong the flowering season.
Scabiosa are commonly known as Pincushion Flowers. Plant Scabiosa in rock gardens, mixed borders, wild gardens or large containers.
