Red Snakebark Maple

The new stems of this Red Snakebark Maple are a beautiful, bright pink to red, as they age they turn dusty green and develop a network of white stripes, like snakes wiggling up the trunk and along the arching branches. The bark takes around two years to mature. The three lobed foliage is mid green with red stems and turns orange and red in autumn.
Red Snakebark Maples have decorative green and white flowers in spring, aging to pink, and copper pendent samsaras in summer.
Red Snakebark Maples grow at a moderate rate into a small to medium tree, with an upright branch structure and spreading crown. it can be easily pruned to your desired height and shape. It will take 5-10 years to mature.
