Selaginella Martens Moss

The small yet bushy, low growing foliage is fantastic. The thick branches have a slightly trailing habit and the foliage has a touches of gorgeous gold. Tolerant of low light conditions it is ideal for a filtered light spot and will shrivel like a vampire in too much sun.

Martens Moss is perfect for terrariums, miniature landscapes or house plants.

Selaginella is best watered with a misting spray because the foliage loves to be moist, not wringing wet but just nice moist! Hailing from a warm, humid environment, it likes similar conditions, so water often and use a loamy soil or good quality potting mix.
Selaginella are commonly known as Spikemoss.
