Geranium ‘Jolly Bee’ has fabulous, lavender blue flowers that open freely for months on end. It is similar to the infamous Geranium ‘Rosanne’, just as hardy and as or more floriferous, it even grows a little taller.
Geranium ‘Jolly Bee’ makes a good choice for massed plantings, garden edging, ground cover, pots or hanging baskets. It has quite big, mauve flowers with deeper veins.
The flowers of Geranium ‘Jolly Bee’ are quite large, especially for a Cranesbill Geranium.
With compact mounds of airy foliage, Geranium ‘Jolly Bee’ is a prize filler for tough spots. A well mannered spreader, it will gradually colonise to its full potential.
Geranium ‘Jolly Bee’ is a low maintenance plant for a sunny location. It grows with vigour though is never invasive and will cope with a bit of neglect. It is tolerant of most soil types so long as they are well drained. In pots, quality potting mix should be used. Keep moist during active growth for best flowers. Once established it will withstand dry periods.
And of course, with a name like ‘Jolly Bee’ the bees love the flowers!
