I remember Tiger Lilies from my Grandmother's garden. It is wonderful to see them back in circulation and it is a testament to their durability. They were hybridised for gardens, not florists, this means they are easy to grow and very floriferous. A great choice for beginners.

New Age Tiger Lilies are a hardy cultivars with bright, colourful flowers. The flowers open from midsummer and last well in both gardens and vases.

Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location - half a day of sun is perfect. Tiger Lilies appreciate afternoon shade in warmer climates. Water in, and keep moist during active growth. Add fertiliser and mulch in autumn and summer, as the bulbs are coming and going.

Simply plant, your Tiger Lilies, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. You don't need to lift the bulbs every year, just leave them in the ground to multiply, and divide them only when they become overcrowded.
