Spanish Peaks Foxglove
A perennial charmer.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
Sensational pink bells flower freely from late spring or early summer above upright foliage. Endemic to Spain it doesn’t mind the heat and thrives in a Mediterranean climate. Spanish Peaks is reliably perennial, as opposed to most Digitalis which are biennials. It is also more compact and has rosettes of hairy leaves.
Spanish Peaks Foxglove grows well in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. For those of you cursed with rabbits, the good news is this plant is rabbit resistant. A big drawcard for our farm! Water to establish, then keep moist in active growth.
Spanish Peaks Foxglove looks great in a cottage garden or rockery. The seed is viable and self sows or you can collect it.
