Rose Campion
A cottage champion.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Big and impressive with bright blooms. The combination of silver and magenta is awesome.
Abundant, upright, narrowly branched stems of magenta pink flowers. Summer to autumn they float above, each growing to around 3cm across.
Rose campion holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit so you know it is garden worthy. A biennial or short lived perennial with great get up and grow. The seeds are viable and will grow without any help in situ, or can be collected for sowing.
The silver green leaves grow low to the ground and along the stems, playing the perfect supporting role to the glowing blooms. The colour is great for contrast in the garden.
Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil, they aren’t too fussy as long as they have drainage. Choose a full sun to part shade position, water in, then you only need worry if rainfall is low, they are quite dry tolerant.
Lychnis coronaria is commonly known as Dusty Miller or Rose campion.
