Add simple elegance with these beauties. Delicate, Tulip shaped soft mauve flowers that are borne in spring to early summer. Each bulb produces 1-4 blooms, each 4-5cm wide. Each bloom lasts a few days. The basal leaves average 15cm and taper to a point.
An easy to grow Calchortus that you can leave to naturalise and multiply. This bulb will thrive in the wet winters and hot dry summers of SE Australia. Plant in full sun to light shade in a well drained soil. Protect them from slugs and snails who find their buds delicious.
