Leucanthemum ‘Betsy’ has a dense, upright habit with strong stems to hold the big blooms aloft. The plant doesn’t need any pinching and stands up well to the heat. The flowers will have pollinators flocking, while rabbits aren’t interested at all. Frost hardy to -20C.
Plant Leucanthemum ‘Betsy’ in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish, then you only need worry only if rainfall is low. Pick or dead head the flowers regularly to encourage more blooms. Cut back hard in winter/early spring before new growth to maintain a healthy, compact plant. Divide every two to three years as required.
