New in 2024.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

A novel way to enjoy indoor plants - includes plant and hanging glass vessel.
These gorgeous, growing ‘jellyfish’ are so simple to care for and add a touch of whimsy and grace wherever they are grown. They are so simply, they can literally live off air! The blown, clear and white glass has silver flecking throughout.
Epiphytic or terrestrial plants with dense rosettes of scaly leaves. The flowers open on long lasting, colourful bracts. They can take a year or two to mature to flowering size depending on conditions.
As Tillandsia plants grow no roots, there is no need for it to be planted. You can glue or wire them to cork, stone, shell or wood or something that won’t absorb too much water, this will give them some support on which to grow. These are simply secured with wire. Their pendent nature will ensure good airflow.
Place Tillandsia in semi shade to bright light, out of direct sunlight. Outdoors the plants should be placed in a semi-shaded spot where there is protection from the winter rains and frosts.
Tillandsia should be allowed to almost dry out between watering. It is easy to tell when the plant needs more water as the leaves should be erect and firm, they will soften and shrink if more water is needed. You can simply mist them or dunk/soak them in a bucket of water.
