Achillea 'Pinken Flush'
New in 2025.
In stock

An abundance of brilliant pink flowers open from early summer, maturing through dusky pink and then beige. The strong, upright, floral stems are adored by friendly pollinators and pink well. The soft, gray green foliage sits close the ground, allowing the flowers to shine.
Achillea are great garden plants. They are sun loving, produce plenty of flowers and don’t need a lot of fuss. They love the heat and don’t mind a bit of dry. Poor soils aren’t a problem for them and the flowers are terrific cut and or dried. If you leave the blooms on the plant they will slowly fade to bronze and can remain upstanding and decorative through winter.
Try Achillea in gardens, rock gardens, meadow plantings or pots. The flowers will even attract plenty of beneficial insects to the garden.
They are an excellent partner plant for spring flowering bulbs as they emerges just as the tulips and daffodils are receding, then the Achillea will go on to shade the garden in summer whilst the bulbs are dormant.
Plant Achillea in a sunny spot, with well drained soil. Water in, then additional watering is only required if rainfall is low. What is especially exciting for me is that they are rabbit resistant, which gives me one less plant to worry about! You can choose to cut the first round of flowers off for a second showing late summer/autumn.
Achillea is commonly known as Sneezewort or Yarrow. The botanical name, Achillea is named for the Greek mythological hero who found healing qualities in plants.
