Salvia 'Plum Crazy'
New in 2025.
Short delay - awaiting stock

A handsome, large, healthy bushy with lush, bright to mid green leaves and plenty of dark, upright stems, bearing cerise florets from plum purple calyces. Great garden presence and very appealing for friendly insect pollinators and local birds.
Salvia ‘Plum Crazy’ is a great choice for gardens or large containers. These rugged plants require little and do so much. The upright foliage is wonderful in landscape and can work as a thriller in mixed containers. The leaves smell of mint and liquorice.
Plant into moderately fertile, to humus rich, well drained soil. Choose a sunny position and water to establish, they become dry tolerant once they have settled in. A tough hybrid of S guarinitica and S. splendens. Prune hard late winter/early spring to make way for new growth.
The aromatic foliage and abundant flowers attract bees, butterflies and birds.
