(39B) Oriental Plane Tree
A large tree, ideal for street planting and large gardens.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

The leaves are large, lustrous and green, turning golden brown before they fall. The leaves are smaller than the London Plane Tree.
The bark is a handsome feature of the Oriental Plane tree, with deep fissures in shades of brown, grey and cream.
In spring inconspicuous flowers bloom, followed by clusters (of up to 6) round ‘fruits’ (inedible) that dangle from short stems into winter.
Oriental Plane Tree is dry tolerant once established and grows well in urban areas. Plant in a well drained soil and keep moist until it becomes established.
