The long, arching bronze leaves combine with the copious feathery flowers for a beautiful display. Purple Fountain Grass is excellent as part of a border, as a specimen or in a pot. Pennisetum 'Rubrum' is a hardy and tough yet with a soft, feminine appeal. Quick to grow it will fill spaces quickly, spreading just over a metre. Requires well drained soil. A non-invasive variety. Well suited for mass planting and landscaping.
