Brilliant red spider like flowers emerge without foliage. Japanese Red Spider Lilies are ideal in clusters for autumn colour. The flowers are fast to bloom, taking on four or five days from the emergence of the stem. Lycoris radiata or Japanese Red Spider Lily are good bulbs for naturalising. Plant this bulb in any sunny area of your garden and be delighted year after year as the large red 'spider' flowers that appear on tall stems. Grow in similar conditions to Nerines.
