Available in the following states:
ACT, NSW, NT, SA and VIC
The new foliage of Vriesea ‘Red Chestnut’ is glossy, green with soft green to cream variegation. As the leaves age they take on a handsome, russet shade.
Best planted in filtered light or part shade. Direct sunlight will burn the leaves, not enough sunlight will reduce the pattern in the foliage.
The colour, shape and texture of Bromeliads is eye catching. The leaves are glossy forming a rosette. The bracts or flowers are long lasting and impressive. Naturally epiphytic, Bromeliads can grow in very little soil. They are versatile, growing in pots or with roots planted just below the soil in the garden or even in the branches of trees.
Bromeliads are naturally epiphytic and native to southern and central America.
