Snowberry
Pink bells in summer and white berries in winter.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

A rare plant with a range of attractive features. Small, pink bells from on the ends of the branches in summer. In winter, after the leaves fall, the luminous white berries swell, lasting into winter.
A deciduous shrub endemic to woodland areas. Snowberry does well in poor soils and will tolerate exposed sites. The fruits are inedible and their juice may irritate sensitive skin. The dark green leaves grow to around 5cm, berries average 1cm across.
Snowberry looks good as a specimen, in a shrub border or can even be planted as an informal hedge.
