Renga Renga Lily
Perfect for dry shade.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

One of the hardest spots to fill in the garden is dry shade. These Renga Renga Lilies are perfect for just those spots. They have lush foliage, and are long flowering.
The white flowers open in loose panicles on tall, narrow, branched stems through spring. Each bloom is around 2.5cm across and opens from pink buds. The blooms are suitable for picking.
The strappy, deep green foliage is evergreen. It grows to form dense clumps.
Renga Renga Lilies are very low maintenance and hardy. Plant in any well drained soil, water to establish and then you only need bother if rainfall is low. Add some fertiliser in spring to keep them flowering well. It is a good idea to protect the new foliage from slugs and snails.
Try growing Renga Renga Liles (Arthropodium) under trees, along fences, in borders, in open or coastal areas. In cool climates it is a good idea to grow them under trees for protection from frost.
Another common name is the New Zealand Rock Lily. It is native to New Zealand.
