Long flowering.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Soft purple blooms with a prominent bronze cone. The flowers open in profusion from mid summer to autumn. The flowers are up to 12cm across.
Purple Coneflowers make good cut flowers. The flowers open with saturated colour and fade with age. Allow the flower heads to stay on, the seed pods remain decorative to the end. The hairy leaves grow towards the base of the plant. They grow to form nice clumps.
Purple Coneflower or Echinacea grow best in full sun. They prosper in a well drained soil moderately fertile to humus rich soil. Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low. They become drought tolerant as they establish.
