The blue grey fleshy leaves of Sedum 'Bertram Anderson' turn almost purple black by the end of summer. The foliage colour is truly amazing.
The deep crimson pink, star shaped flowers are produced late summer to autumn.
Sedum 'Bertram Anderson' is a useful as a ground cover, or in rock gardens and also performs very well in containers. Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water in to establish then only if rainfall is low.
Their common name is Stonecrop. Sedum 'Bertram Anderson' holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.
