Beauty Bush Pink Cloud

The blooms are bell shaped and open in absolute profusion. The soft pink blooms open from deep pink buds. Each bloom is 1.5cm across and has a touch of gold in their throats. The branches are long, with a graceful arch.

The leaves are dark green and grow to 7cm long. The foliage yellows in autumn but it is not noteworthy. The common name, Beauty Bush is a good descriptor of this low maintenance, vigorous shrub. Use Kolkwitzia 'Pink Cloud' as a specimen plant, as part of a shrub border or as an informal hedge.

Grow Kolkwitzia 'Pink Cloud' in moderately fertile to humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Plant in a sunny position.

Kolkwitzia 'Pink Cloud' was bred back in 1946 at the Royal Horticultural Societies Wisley Gardens. It holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.
