Chatham Island Forget-me-not

The foliage is a stand out feature, and it is evergreen. The glossy, ribbed, heart shaped leaves are around 30cm long.

And if the foliage is not enough on its own - there are amazingly beautiful blooms to complete the picture. The flowers in shades of dark to pale blue are abundant throughout the spring and summer months. An all time favourite best suited to shady parts of the garden. Don't forget this one!

Grow in moderately fertile, well drained soil. Add a little leaf mulch in autumn. Chatham Island forget-me-not is a New Zealand native that likes cool, moist conditions. It will grow well in coastal conditions. Add Seasol monthly spring to summer to keep them flowering at their best.
